Partner, KPMG Ms. Olalia-Carin is a partner in KPMG Canada’s Advisory practice. She is responsible for major Section 5970 and SAS 70 engagements in KPMG Canada’s Greater Toronto Area office and is the leader for these services nationally. Her clients include those in the financial services sector as well as those in the telecommunications industry. In addition to leading Section 5970 and SAS 70 engagements, Ms. Olalia-Carin heads a team of over 60 professionals focusing on the identification and mitigation of risks related to the use of technology. Ms. Olalia-Carin earned her Bachelor of Science in Commerce, major in Accounting from the University of the Assumption and graduated cum laude. She is a Certified Public Accountant in the Philippines, Certified Information Systems Auditor and a member of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association and the Institute of Internal Auditors. She is also an active member of the Information Technology Advisory Committee of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants.
